One thing the store page does not say: the app itself is 166 MB. On a phone that is already full you may need to clear space by hand before you can even install it.
If it will not fit
Cleanup needs iOS 15.0 and 166 MB free. If your iPhone is older than iPhone 6s, or you are under about 300 MB right now, it will not install. SmartClean runs from iOS 13 and downloads at 51 MB. It does less — no video compression — but it fits where this one does not.

Questions people ask
Is Cleanup safe to use?
It has been on the App Store since 2020-12-05, it is published by DEEP FLOW SOFTWARE SERVICES - FZCO under their own name, and it passes Apple's review on every update. The last one was 2026-07-27. That is not the same as an independent security audit, and we have not run one. Deleting is irreversible, so review the selection before you confirm.
Is it really free?
The download is free. Full cleanup needs a subscription. Apple does not publish subscription prices in its catalogue, so we do not quote a number here. Check the price on the subscription screen inside the app before you agree to anything.
Will it run on my iPhone?
It needs iOS 15.0 or later, which means iPhone 6s and newer. Anything older cannot install it. Check Settings then General then About to see which version you are on.
How much space will it actually free?
That depends entirely on how many duplicate photos and large videos you have, so any number we printed here would be invented. The app's own scan shows you the total before you delete anything, and you decide from there.
Do I need 166 MB free just to install it?
Yes. The download is 166 MB, and iOS needs that space before it will install anything. If your phone is already down to its last few hundred megabytes, delete a couple of large videos by hand first, or start with a smaller cleaner.
